Seeking help is a sign of strength, and our men’s detox center is here to support you every step of the way.
Our holistic approach to detox and addiction treatment addresses the physical, emotional, and psychological aspects of recovery, empowering men to reclaim their lives and embrace a healthier, substance-free future.
Our drug and alcohol detox center also has a women’s detox center with staff experienced in treating addiction in women.
A men’s detox center is a specialized facility that provides comprehensive detox services tailored to meet the needs of men who are struggling with substance abuse. It offers a safe and supportive environment where men can undergo the detox process under the supervision of medical professionals.
Men’s detox centers focus on helping men start their sobriety journey while addressing the unique challenges that men face during detox and providing individualized care to support their physical and emotional well-being throughout the process.
Different patterns of first exposure to drug use among men and women highlight the role of gendered expectations and socio-cultural norms in shaping drug use experiences of people who use drugs and call for gender-specific harm reduction interventions. (Zolala, et al.)
Seeking help from a reputable men’s detox center is a common and empowering decision. Many men prefer gender-focused treatment, finding solace in the company of fellow men who understand their unique journey towards lasting recovery. By immersing yourself in a men’s detox program, you can eliminate distractions commonly found in coed environments and stay fully engaged in your treatment. This focused approach allows you to bypass societal stigmas associated with being male and prioritize your sobriety journey for a fulfilling and enduring life ahead.
The longer you stay in treatment, the higher your chance of avoiding relapse and living the life you truly deserve. Being in a men’s detox center takes many of the distractions out of your treatment, including those occurring in coed environments.
Men and women often have distinct paths that lead them to substance abuse and the need for detox. Research indicates that men face a higher risk of substance abuse, including severe addiction, intravenous drug use, and alcohol abuse, compared to women. Additionally, men tend to delay acknowledging their problem and hold the belief that they can overcome drug use independently.
Many men view seeking treatment as a sign of weakness and worry about societal stigma. A detox program designed specifically for men understands their unique challenges and is better equipped to guide them towards lasting wellness.

In addition to men’s detox services, we also have a men’s rehab program. Our substance abuse treatment programs for men are designed to provide a supportive and empowering environment where you can embark on your journey to recovery.
We offer individual therapy programs such as motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy programs, family therapy programs, and dialectical behavior therapy programs, as well as group therapy services.
A recent study found that men “display a higher prevalence for alcoholism” and are more likely to binge drink and use both drugs and alcohol. Almost three-quarters of admissions for alcohol abuse or alcohol and drug abuse are men, according to SAMHSA.
Alcohol addiction treatment is a comprehensive approach aimed at helping you overcome your dependence on alcohol and regain control over your life. At our alcohol rehab center, we offer a range of evidence-based therapies and interventions tailored to address the specific needs of each individual.
Our holistic approach combines medical support, counseling, behavioral health therapies, and group support to provide a well-rounded and effective treatment experience. Through alcohol addiction therapy, you gain the necessary tools and strategies to manage cravings, address underlying issues, and develop healthier coping mechanisms, paving the way for long-term recovery and a fulfilling life free from alcohol addiction.
Men “are more likely than women to use almost all types of illicit drugs, and illicit drug use is more likely to result in emergency department visits or overdose deaths for men than for women,” according to the National Institute on Drug Abuse.
At our drug treatment center, we offer a range of therapies and interventions designed to help you get the necessary tools and resources to break free from drug addiction and develop a healthier, substance-free lifestyle. Our goal is to empower you to overcome cravings, address underlying issues, and build a strong foundation for long-term recovery and overall well-being.
We offer the following programs at our men’s drug rehab center:
Your mental and physical wellbeing can influence substance abuse, and vice versa. For example, according to a 2016 study, there is a statistically important relationship between painkiller addiction and chronic pain.
Another study on psychiatric disorders in male alcoholics found that “depression and antisocial personality were frequently co-occurring syndromes followed by drug abuse and mania.”
Professionals at our dual diagnosis treatment center combine mental health treatment and trauma therapy with addiction treatment, helping you tackle the underlying causes of addiction. We offer the following dual diagnosis programs:

For most addictions, 3 days is not enough for a detox. Depending on which substance is in your system, expect the detox process to take from one to eight weeks, though it can sometimes take even longer.
Detox is needed if you experience physical withdrawal symptoms when attempting to stop using drugs or alcohol. If drugs or alcohol are affecting your job, relationships, or emotional state, or if you’ve been unsuccessful in your prior attempts at stopping your addiction, detox can also be incredibly beneficial.
Detoxing from substances can be emotionally and physically painful. The brain is initially unable to produce endorphins needed to ease pain, as it’s become accustomed to drugs and alcohol artificially providing them. With Ardu’s detox programs, your unpleasant detox symptoms are managed by highly qualified medical personnel and supplemented with medication when appropriate.
Common withdrawal symptoms, like feeling sick, throwing up, and having diarrhea, can cause severe dehydration. When detoxing from alcohol, seizures, hallucinations, and delirium tremens can quickly turn deadly without appropriate medical attention. During the detox phase, depression and suicidal thoughts and feelings are not uncommon.
That’s why it’s crucial to undergo the detox process under the right medical supervision in a professional and compassionate setting.
